Ross Paterson - Figurative Landscapes             

 

Renowned Australian landscape artist with the unique ability to interpret the distinctive character, light and atmosphere of the subject in various mediums.

Acknowledged by his peers and art lovers alike, for his ability to produce award-winning works in Watercolour, Oil and Pastel, Ross has been described in Australian Artist Magazine - July, 2005, as 'one of Australia's great prize-winning all-rounders'.

Watercolour   2 days   figurative landscape (animals, people, etc) You can bring own photos. Ross will be bringing his new DVD for sale.

Friday, 26th March  and Saturday 27th March.  9.30 setup for 10.00am-finish 4pm. COST:  $57 members $62 non-members per day.  tea/coffee will be provided-bring your lunch

Workshop 6

Experimenting with acrylics

Bring any mediums, textures, mark making implements, combs, palette knives, card board etc Bring oil sketch paper or stretched canvas to work on.

Saturday 10th April.   9.30 setup for 10.00am-finish 4pm

Workshop 7

Trevor Newman - Portraits      

Trevor is a professional artist and tutor who has participated in both solo and group exhibitions. Trevor has won many prizes and awards including 2008 Rotary Club of Victor Harbor Art Show –City of Victor Harbor Art Prize and People’s Choice Award.
Approaching a portrait with pastel by using acrylic paint over white pastel paper as an under painting. This technique gives a unique vibrancy to your work. Bring white pastel paper (Trevor recommends Canson mi-tentes text). Working from own photos.

Saturday 22nd Pastels and Sunday 23rd May Pastels.   9.30 setup for 10.00am-finish 4pm. COST:  $40 members $45 non-members per day. tea/coffee will be provided-bring your lunch
